Instrumental Music
nurtures a passion of music through
excellence in training of grade bands and concert band.
The grade bands perform at the Christmas Fine Arts Gala
and the Spring Fine Arts Performance. The concert band
does these performances as well as performances at
various other events including traveling out of town or
province each year. |

Jazz Band
is an exceptional opportunity to learn musical
creativity through jazz and share in the love of
'jamming' to create music everyone enjoys. The jazz
band called the "Beat Nicks" also records hits on CD!
The 'Beat Nicks' perform at various events throughout
the year, and also travels out-of-town or province each
year. |

Guitar:
Our Fine Arts Program also offers students the
opportunity of learning to play the guitar and gaining
an understanding of musical theory, chords, and
intervals while exploring the music of the past and
present. |

Dance Program:
Students may pursue fine arts through various
disciplines of dance developing skills in ballet, tap,
jazz and hip hop. If you love music and love to dance
whether experienced or not, this is your opportunity to
have fun learning and performing! St. Nicholas has a
beautiful NEW dance studio! |

Voice Training:
An opportunity where students train with
highly skilled music specialist, Mr. Lamoureux, ad
together share their gifts in liturgical celebration and
in fun modern musical theatre productions. |
