Halloween Dance to allow for the Halloween dance, and to minimize loss of class time, will be changing the schedule this week as follows:

Thursday, October 30

Block 1 - Homeroom
Block 2 - will be Friday's block 6
Block 3 - will be Friday's block 7

Friday, October 31

Regular morning/lunch
Block 6-7 - Halloween Dance in the gym


 Catholic Education Sunday - Please click on the link to see the letter from the Canadian Bishops of Alberta and the Northwest Territories.  This year's theme is "Sharing the Good News about our Human Nature".   


Remembrance Day Celebration -  We will be celebrating a bit early due to the day in Lieu.  Our celebration will start at 9 am on Friday, November 7th in the school gym.  All are welcome to attend. 


Online Parent Budget Survey- Click on the following link  to access information on the Parent survey.  The survey link will be available on the district website from November 1-30th.  Have your say, respond today!


P.D. Day/No school - There is no school on Monday, November 10th (day in lieu), no school on Tuesday, November 11th (Remembrance Day), and no school on Wednesday, November 12th (Staff Professional Development Day).  School will resume November 13th (Flex Day).


Report Cards - All report cards will be sent home November 28th. As always you can check PowerSchool for updates and emails for the staff.  Please click the link on the top of the webpage.


Book Fair - During the Parent-Student-Teacher conferences on December 3-4 we will be holding our annual Book Fair.  It will be open on December 3rd for student viewing, and Thursday, December 4th from 8:30 am - 8:00 pm for sales.  We accept debit, credit, cash and cheques.  For every $10 spent, 6$ stays at the school to purchase new books/resources.



 School Tours - Here at St. Nicholas, we are always available to take you on a tour of our great school.  Just call and set up an appointment.
